How to Change Your Screen Resolution in Windows

*Note: some resolutions are not supported; when you change to these, the screen will go black; don’t panic! It will change back or revert in 15 seconds on its own as long as you don’t click “apply settings”

From your home screen, right click anywhere in the background & select Screen resolution (you must have all applications such as Word and Chrome closed or minimized)
Click on the resolution drop down menu and select a setting by moving the arrow up or down; click apply
After clicking “Apply” the screen may go black for a few seconds; then the screen will show up with the new resolution; to keep the changes, click “Keep” or to discard the changes, click “Revert”; remember, if you do not click anything or cannot see the screen to click anything, it will change back on its own in 15 seconds
